I found this on Gladstone, near a school. It was Wednesday March 30th, 2005, at around 5 PM. What I like about it is the way the essay flirts with hating school, then comes all the way back to knowledge being power, and an education being important. It's as if Amina, the author, can't decide if she should be totally honest and express her dislike for school, or if she should tell the teacher some lie. Or maybe Amina is complex, and both loves and hates school. Michelle found it sort of sad that Amira has "never been in a club before" and just pretends she is in one. It makes her sound a little lonely.
