"They're sending me to jail again. It was bound to happen. I try to stay philosophical about it. Like my daddy always said, when life gives you lemons, chuck 'em at passing motorists.

"There's safety in numbers, they tell me. Funny -- I don't feel any safer, hiding behind this number. I think they feel safer, though. If you can put a number on it, means you understand it. Like you've nailed it to the ground.

"And that's what they've done to me. Nailed me. For now. I'm sure there's a pair of pliers around here someplace."
