What happened to this man's ear? Was it torn off? Is it deformed? If only he'd turn his head, just a little, so I could get a better look. It's agonizing, seeing only the edge of it, without knowing its story.

This man was charged with Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor. He's a dreamer, a misfit -- he's sleepwalking through life, and no one can wake him up. No matter how hard they shake him, he can't feel it.

I found this photo thanks to The New Mexico Department of Public Safety. Sounds like a website about hard hats and protective eye wear, doesn't it? Nope. That's the title they give to the website where they put registered sex offenders on display.
