Hemingway
Sold -- acrylic paint on paper

Karsh took a famous photograph of Ernest Hemingway. The sweater has a collar like a car tire, and Hemingway looks miserable and bland. He stares off into the infinite distance, wondering where he left his shotgun shells.

Karsh's work has inspired me on many occasion. This painting reveals what we have all secretly known for so very long: Hemingway has a yellow nose.

I sold this work to a co-worker for a ridiculously small amount of cash. You too can rip me off. Simply write me an email asking about a painting you've seen on this site, or commission a work. I love requests.
