The third in a series of paintings requested by a lawyer in California for his office. The previous two were Kerouac and Vonnegut. This one is Salinger, author of many fantastic books ("Catcher in the Rye") and inventor of the banana fish.

Here is a detail of my painting, so you can see how I spent hours and hours obsessively scratching out tiny lines in pen.
